Without conversion I have the same problem that everything is stretch. I use oculus video for this. I didnt found any player that play well 190deg. I tested Playa player but the video quality is horrible.
The website has this problem that if a video has a bitrate bellow a specific threshold (happens with dynamic NVENC quality), no matter if the video is 4k or not it will tell that the video is 2K.My videos are all in 4k but I cant figure out the bitrate necessary so that the website take it as 4k.

It's because of low bitrate. For some reason, despite the video being 2160p, EP's system just says fuck it if the bitrate isn't high enough and limits it to the next highest resolution. This tends to happen if you download from other sites in 2160p that host worse bitrate videos and then upload to EP. It's annoying as fuck so I've found it's safest to download videos in a higher-than-2160p if you want to guarantee it becomes available at 2160p after uploading here, though that might not always be an option.
